Sawing a Log
Another tradition is called “Baumstamm sägen”. After the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom use a large saw to cut a log in half. It is often the first challenge they do together as a married couple. It shows teamwork and cooperation.
Cutting Out a Heart
At some weddings, there is a large paper heart. The bride and groom cut the heart out together with scissors. After that, they walk through the heart. Sometimes the groom carries the bride through it. This tradition stands for starting a new life together.
